Two types of awards will be granted at the 2019 IEEE Data Science Workshop: Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award. For a paper to count as a 'student paper', its first author must be a student at the moment of submission. The selection criteria for these awards include the scientific quality of the paper, and the presentation of the contribution.
Paper awards will be handled by the corresponding chairs: Yuejie Chi (Carnegie Mellon University, USA) and Alle-Jan van der Veen (TU Delft, Netherlands). See Organizing Committee for more details.
